Poco Bueno

Speed, Quickness, Patience, Agility. Poco is an 8-old quarter horse gelding. Standing at 14.3 hands and weighing in, depending on the time of year, at 1000 lbs. Poco was born and bred from Fort Ranch blood. Their horses are known for their versatility. Poco has a great resume. Poco has worked the Summit, Tooele, and Box Elder County ranches. He has been currently used by one of the ranch vaqueros a Charro de Jalisco and is fine tuned. Charros are known for their horse skills and horse sense, and this horse is proof of that. Poco is a great ranch sorting horse. He has done it for years and knows what he is doing, he has been entered in some ranch sorting competitions and brought home money. He was used by an 8-year-old last fall to sort calves during the fall roundup. He is also a great open field rope horse. For the past 3 years he has been used on the yearling division of the ranch. He is stout enough to single handedly knock down and hold a 1000 lb yearling. He has been used for branding and doctoring calves. Poco has been used as a heal horse. He could be a calf horse as well. He has also been run on a heal o matic. Poco has enjoyed many pack trips into the high Uintas, and into the Yellowstone backcountry. He has packed and hauled elk, He has crossed raging rivers, passed over snow covered mountain passes, crossed trees, marshes, and rock ledges. He knows how to use hobbles, and tether lines. This is a solid horse that has had thousands of wet saddle blankets. He is currently on the desert calving heifers so he has been used consistently for years.
